Wheelchair-accessible transportation for medical appointments, therapy, clinical trials, and other medically necessary travel. Paid directly to approved transportation providers.
Assistance for purchasing a wheelchair-accessible van or converting an existing vehicle, so individuals with PSP can keep safe, reliable access to medical care and daily life.
Airfare, hotels, gas, parking, meals, ground transportation, and caregiver travel when medically necessary to reach PSP specialists and clinical trials.
Grab bars, wheelchair ramps, shower modifications, handrails, and other fall-prevention improvements to keep people with PSP safe at home.
Hospital beds, lift chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, patient lifts, and other medically necessary equipment insurance won't fully cover.
Communication devices and adaptive technology for individuals losing speech or mobility due to PSP.
The Brothers PSP Foundation is committed to helping individuals living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) maintain their independence, dignity, and access to essential medical care.
Applications are reviewed by the Brothers PSP Foundation's Board of Directors. Grants are awarded based on medical need, financial need, available funding, and the Foundation's charitable mission.
Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
Applications are accepted online through the Brothers PSP Foundation website. Once submitted, applicants will be contacted regarding any additional documentation required and notified of the Board's decision after the review process is complete.
Our mission is simple: No person living with PSP should be denied safe, reliable, and accessible transportation because of financial hardship.
Eligibility
Applicant or care recipient lives in California.
Documented diagnosis from a qualified physician.
Family or caregiver need for assistance.
